Sounds configuration

The Sound configuration plugin is included only during Trial or in the All-inclusive plan.
For our Ticket or Ticket+Chat plan, you need to purchase the addon.

Customize or disable any sound that is played in LiveAgent. You can choose from existing sounds or upload your own file. Supported formats are mp3, wav, ogg. Maximum file size is 128 MB.

Sound options:

  • New call
  • New chat
  • New message
  • New ticket
  • Chat connected
  • Chat new message

Sounds Setup

Step 1: Navigate to Configuration>System>Plugins, find Sound configuration plugin and click on the Activate button.

Step 2: Then navigate to Configuration>System>Sounds

Step 3: Choose the sound you want, or upload a new one by clicking on the "Choose file" button. Don't forget to click Save when you're done. Note: you can choose the sounds for all your agents this way.

Each agent can customize their sounds in their own profile section. Click on your name in the upper right corner, then navigate to the Sounds section.


Addon purchase:

If you are subscribed to our Ticket or Ticket+ Chat plan, the account owner will need to purchase the Sound configuration add on. The owner must go to My account > additional addons and add the Sound configuration option.
