In order to use our AI features, you first need to connect your LiveAgent account with an AI provider. This article covers integration steps with the AI company Anthropic.
Integrating Anthropic as an AI provider
To connect your LiveAgent account with Anthropic, navigate in your Claude Console platform to the API keys section and click on the "Create key" button. Name your new API key, set its expiration date, choose an account and scopes for it, and click on the "Create key" button. Once you have created the new key, it will be displayed on your screen.
Ensure that you've copied the API key correctly and keep it safe, as you won't be able to view it again. If you lose the key, you'll need to generate a new one.
After generating your API key, navigate in your LiveAgent panel to Configuration > AI > Setup AI provider, click on the "Add AI provider" button, and select "Anthropic".
Insert your Claude API key into the designated field, name the integration for easier recognition in other settings, and save the configuration window by clicking "Add". Your Anthropic account is now connected, and you can continue with setting up AI features.
