In order to use our AI features, you first need to connect your LiveAgent account with an AI provider. This article covers integration steps with Google's AI Gemini.
Integrating Gemini as an AI provider
To connect your LiveAgent account with Gemini, navigate in your Google AI Studio to the API keys section and click on the "Create API key" button. Name your new API key, choose a project for it, and click on the "Create key" button. Once you have created the new key, it will be displayed on your screen.
After generating your Gemini API key, navigate in your LiveAgent panel to Configuration > AI > Setup AI provider, click on the "Add AI provider" button, and select "Gemini".
Insert your Gemini API key into the designated field, name the integration for easier recognition in other settings, and save the configuration window by clicking "Add". Your Google AI Studio account is now connected, and you can continue with setting up AI features.
You can integrate multiple Gemini API keys & accounts as separate providers.
