You can face some problems or errors while integrating or using our Twitter integration. We've listed the most common issues for you:
Could not authenticate you
This error is displayed when you try to add a new Twitter account but the API Key and/or API Key Secret of your Twitter app is not valid, or you are using the wrong credentials. To fix it, review our Twitter application integration guide and use the correct Consumer Keys or regenerate new ones.
Callback URL not approved for this client application. Approved callback URLs can be adjusted in your application settings
This error is displayed when you try to add a new Twitter account but you have not set up the Callback URI/Redirect URL of your Twitter app correctly. To fix it, review our Twitter application integration guide and set the app correctly.
Do not forget to replace mycompany.ladesk.com with the actual URL of your LiveAgent account.
LiveAgent is not fetching Tweets & comments
If you've followed our Twitter guides step-by-step and integrated your Twitter app & account to your LiveAgent account correctly but the integration is still not fetching any Tweets or comments the most likely problem will be that your Twitter developer account is on a free plan. The free plan does not contain access to the Search Tweets feature, and therefore you won't be able to fetch Tweets & comments. It is recommended to upgrade your account at least to the Basic plan.
