IP Addresses Used by Application Servers

The following IP addresses of our application servers are used to access external services from our cloud, such as IMAP, SMTP, and POP3 servers, API calls from plugins, Facebook API, etc. If you are restricting IP addresses in applications that you use it is highly recommended to whitelist all IP addresses used by LiveAgent to avoid issues with e.g. mail accounts connecting, emails fetching, or emails sending (applicable only in case of email addresses connected via SMTP).

If you are using LiveAgent servers to send your emails, instead of whitelisting any of the following IP addresses it is required to set up a SPF record for your domain, see this article for more information.

Starting from March 2024, all LiveAgent accounts will be migrated to our new Amazon servers. It is recommended to keep whitelisted all new and current IP addresses used by our servers. If you want to confirm which data center is your account stored in, do not hesitate to contact our support.

Legacy Linode servers' IP addresses

Since our current cloud solution occasionally changes the number of application servers, it's not feasible to provide a fixed list of IP addresses that will stay valid for years. However, you can always find the most up-to-date list of our IP addresses from the SPF (TXT DNS) record of your LiveAgent account. There are many online tools available to help you with this, such as the DMARC Analyzer.

To retrieve the current list of IP addresses used by your account on our Linode infrastructure, open the https://www.mimecast.com/products/dmarc-analyzer/spf-record-check/ page, enter your LiveAgent account URL into the "Email domain" field, and click "CHECK RECORD".

Close the "Would you like your results emailed to you?" pop-up window, scroll to the "SPF Results for domain:" section, and whitelist the IP addresses from the "IP Records" section.
