Customer: Can I receive additional notifications for new chats in LiveAgent on email or via sms while I am working in my agent panel in browser?
Answer: The chat will ring in your LiveAgent panel or in your mobile LiveAgent app. Currently, there's no way to notify you when chat is ringing, only when a chat was missed or answered by an agent and it contains a specific tag, in which case you can create a rule to notify you.
