In order to use LiveAgent's AI features powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT model, you first need to connect your LiveAgent account with your OpenAI account.
Navigate in your OpenAI Dashboard to the API keys section and click on the "Create new secret key" button. Name your new API key, choose a project for it, and click on the "Create secret key" button. Once you have created the new key, it will be displayed on the screen.
Ensure that you've copied the API key correctly and keep it safe, as you won't be able to view it again. If you lose the key, you'll need to generate a new one.
After generating your OpenAI API key, navigate in your LiveAgent panel to Configuration > AI > Setup AI provider, and select to "Insert API Key" for the OpenAI provider.
Insert your OpenAI API key into the provided field and save the configuration window. Your OpenAI account is now connected with your LiveAgent and you can continue to enable and use the Answer assistant feature.
