Push notifications from the LiveAgent mobile app

Customers often ask us when they will receive a push notification from their mobile devices when they are using our LiveAgent iOS or Android app. Here's the answer.

There are two types of the push notifications for the mobile app. Ticket push notifications and Chat push notifications.
 

Ticket push notifications:

Push notifications for tickets are executed when:
  • A new ticket is created in the department where you are currently available
  • A ticket is reopened in the department where you are currently available
  • A ticket is assigned to you
  • A ticket assigned to you is reopened
 

Chat push notifications:

Push notifications for chats are executed when:
  • A new chat is ringing to you
  • A new message in chat arrives
  • You missed a chat
